Finalised Dates announced for Liane Carroll Trio UK Tour May 2004

Seaford, East Sussex: Splash Point Records announces the finalised gig dates for singer/pianist Liane Carroll's UK Tour May 2004, including a flagship concert at London's Purcell Room on Tuesday 11th May 2004. The tour is being organised by Splash Point Records with support from Jazz Services, to further promote Liane's album Billy No Mates (SPR001CD) which is already onto its second pressing in just six months since release.

Hastings-based Liane Carroll plays all over the world and has an international reputation for her powerful and passionate performances. She has toured and recorded with artists such as Gerry Rafferty, Ladysmith Black Mombasa and Paul McCartney. She has just returned from touring New Zealand with drum'n'bass group London Elektricity, following her trio's sell-out week headlining at Ronnie Scott's in London.

The line-up for the Tour features Liane on vocals and piano, with Roger Carey on bass and Mark Fletcher on drums.

The support slot is provided by the Sue Richardson Trio. Sue is an exciting new performer on the national jazz circuit, being the unusual combination of vocalist and trumpet player. Sue will be performing numbers from her debut album Out Of A Song available from May on Splash Point Records (SPR002CD). The official launch of Out Of A Song will be in June.
