Sue is a jazz vocalist and trumpet player based in Sussex, UK. Described on Radio 3 as "Trumpet ace, a rising star on the London jazz scene". Fanfare, her third CD is released on 7th february 2011 - "Trumpet-playing singer-songwriter Sue Richardson is anything but a gimmick" The Observer

Her debut album, Out of a Song, launched in 2004 received great reviews. In 2006 Sue was a finalist in the Jazz Services Promoters Award. Her second CD, Emergence was released in November '07. Sue plays trumpet on Ian Shaw's tribute to Humphrey Lyttelton, Sad Sweet Song, released November 2008.
